They always say it's better to be late than never...well that's me tonight. I have meant to thank all the wonderful truck drivers out there when I'm on one of my road trips for vacation. I drive I-40 from Amarillo to So. Cal. and I have never had a problem with anyone and of course I always try to be just as courteous back by giving y'all lots of room. I have made my mistakes on the road by not paying much attention to a truck needing to pass another truck, etc. My bad and I'm sorry, but for the most part I am pretty much alert to merging traffic when passing, etc. I have seen some nuts out there, what you call 4 wheelers, and they piss me off because they are the ones that will cause the accident. Stay safe out there on your runs! God Bless all of you too.

You are very welcome and you are so right. I moved here to Amarillo and I really wonder where the worst drivers are now. They drive fast in CA, but dang they tailgate around here like it's nothing. I always have a run-in with a 4 wheeler on my trips...lol I never have a boring trip and at least it keeps me on my toes most of the time. Take care.

Dallas. Worst drivers are in Dallas. Very aggressive.

Considerate drivers are well appreciated. Now if everyone was like that, the roads would be much safer. Thanks for caring!

There was a good show on NPR the other day, different truckers etc were on a panel. The point was to educate the general driving public on the challenges of trucking, hope a lot of people listened and learned.

Hope they picked some truckers who were able to string more than three intelligible words together in complete sentences without dropping the f-bomb.
