We've owned one 370hp and one 400hp truck and used them to pull bullracks. We were usually grossing 80-86k and although we wouldn't win any races, we didn't have any problems. Both engines were M11's and the 400hp one was a celect plus. The 370 truck we bought with 500k on it and sold it with 940k, the 400 truck we bought with 600k on it and we still have it as a backup. It now has 1.2 million on it. The only non PM work done to either was a couple injectors, one fuel pump, and rods/mains on the 400hp(done at 900k). Also, the 400hp engine was factory rated at 330hp, but was turned up by the previous owner.
Manny129 Thanks this. -
Mine has trouble hauling 40,000 up hills, little power. If I start at 0 on a hill carrying 25.000 I still cant get over 30. I think there is something wrong. It is a Volvo D12D with Blocked EGR's.
