Kennesaw is a wonderful company! My wife & I drove for them for 4 yrs & enjoyed every bit of it. Mr. Patrick has built a small family business with a close family atmosphere. I understand they have solo drivers now that run from the southeast to the midwest....the teams run to the west coast. Taylor Wilson was the head dispatcher when we were there, you couldn't ask for a more level headed, easy going individual. Chuck Patrick, the owners son & VP, is very easy to get along with.
We got all the miles we wanted, got the time off we wanted & when an issue arose, it was handle quickly & fairly. The epuipment was well maintained and was always speced for driver comfort. Call & talk to Ray Hammond. He is the head recruiter and is pleasent fellow to talk with. Let me know what you think.brandyleigh Thanks this. -
i have never drove for them but was under the impression it was an employee owned company . i have talked to several of their drivers before and all seemed really happy. plus all of their equipment seems to be top notch and well maintained. they are a co i would consider if my deal was to go south one day.

thanks for the post , but it seems as if your the only one on here that likes this company . of course there will be people that will never be happy with anything , but one said that they were given a filthy truch and had to clean it out themselves and no miles for a team truck and were noy happy with that company at all and a few other drivers werent happy either . they said if you dont live very close to termenal in ga youll never get home and had pay decreases . i live 1.5 hours north of atlanta in anderson sc. i usually prefer to go home for a week and stay out 4 to 6 weeks at a time . the last company i worked for , alabama food service, for 2.5 years .. i loved them . the base pay . 30 cpm sucked but i still got $900 every week . i ran my ### off too . but at least i never sat somewere . every other driver for them i talked to hated them . they are out of buisness now . thanks again for the input , i think i really want to give them a try .. i love there pretty trucks ,, never drove a pete [ i really miss my western star ] . does the trucks have double bunks for solo drivers , my daughter rides with me

Priority Transportation Cullman,al Google them for their number. They pay27% of the load they run west coast and back to N.Ala and Atlanta. I have a friend who works as a O/O who is lovin this company.

Kennesaw also has Int'l's. Suppose to be a good company.

Have you checked into Waggoners Trucking? They are one of the primary haulers for BMW. Load alot out of the Spartanburg plant.
Sorry to hear those negative comments about Kennesaw. My wife and I haven't worked there in 10yrs, so I guess things may have changed. We did the same time frame you are wanting to do....Kennesaw never had a problem with us taking 4-5 days off after being out 4-5 wks. Keep your chin up and keep diggin'. There will be a company that will fit your needs, just gotta keep knockin' on doors and throw the questions out there. -
Just left Kennesaw. Couldn't get any miles. Some solos get more miles that the teams do. Some teams do well and others ........ Liked the people, but since the son took over, not the same company. My wife and I like to run 2-3 months out and keep rolling but just couldn't get the miles. Dispatching a team from Georgia to California for 5 days then sit and 4 days back is no way to make money. Company has changed.
