    Hey Sheepdog,
They had better food back then cause it was real food in diners, not the fast food crap we have in truck stops now days!

I'd have a hard time not stripping down and just "bathing" in it for a minute.

I guess your right about the diner food... they use cheap food for diners now but we still have more choices.

Keep out of the trucking industry and don't buy junk bonds thats how you make $ 1 million.

If you come up with a way to NET $3000 a week that doesn't require me to sexaul acts or sell my Integrity...I am in! My goal and has been for years it to simply NET a $1000 a week and that shouldn't be that hard....so, why is it? I was born with a gift to work, not talk....

i have net easily 2500 a week as an owner operator after fuel and road expences, (not including truck payment) just stay away from those companies paying by the mile. (the ones that advertise 95cpm plus fuel surcharge), what a joke. my smallest net pay to the house was just over 1000 and that was when I was home for a week. my best check was 3500 net. I would not even drive a company truck if i cant net 1000 dollars per week. (that is if im on the road and not home) I neted 600 per week in 1996, making 21cpm.

$2500 a week before truck payment is not net... also, is that after taxes have been put aside? Not trying to knock you down or anything,,just pointing out that NET is what you get after all taxes and payments have been payed. The NET is than used to pay other bill's, that really have nothing to do with the job or business.. I know there is money out there to be made and I am working on that now.. I have only been driving a big rig for just over 3 years and you can take away a year for military duty. I am pretty confident that I could net $1000 a week now but I will do better than that, when the wife gets her cdl..so I wait. Be safe..
