Exactly!! But make sure the accountant is well versed in trucking. H&R Block is NOT a good accountant source for truckers!!:biggrin_25523:
If you aren't a member of OOIDA, it's a good idea to join. Legal and business advice are free if nothing else.

    Cheers!

I agree that truckers need to join OOIDA because they do help fight all the crap that is rolling out of Washington and the states.

Had the same thing but mine will be coming next week cause I got about 900 miles for the week. due to sitting around last weekend but never long enough to reset 1/2 day on Friday waiting on a relay then sitting all but 3 hrs on Sunday. then load out.... Then get a 1300 mile run late wed. delivering on Friday at 4pm so screwed that check up BAD. I did get a 980 mile load to Rockford,IL to del. Monday morning for this weekend.

This is not encouraging. What do you guys suppose is the problem? I've experienced a similar slow down over the past 2 months as a company driver.

I've averaged 2500 miles a week over the last three months. Not usually long runs and I usually have two dispatch numbers on my log each day.

I'm beginning to wonder if I wouldn't be better off doing 400 to 600 mile runs and staying closer to home. It seems like when I have weeks like that I make more money. The more I stay in the upper midwest the more miles I end up with. It makes sense since three of Roehl's terminals are in the midwest and upper midwest.
