Try finding a job you can do try find it in the news paper here in Maine th only jobs you can get are in the mental health field or call centers where you have to scam people out of money. I was unemployed for near three years, I did flagging for just above the min wage. Then I got my CDL B so I have been driving school bus on a sub basses now I am in the process of obtaining my CDL A.

the unemployment is high because the real jobs are not there, never mind what you see on monster etc.

 

Talked to Sheryl Lindsay this morning should have a yeah or neigh answer by noon today. Crossing fingers don't think there are any skeltons in closet . Only thing questionable would be unemployment time about 6 months or so.Then would just have to pick a date need get my ducks in order ie ... online bill pay and such an button up house before leaving.

 

How will this affect me if I am retired from the US Navy and have not worked in 6 months will that be fine or will I need to get a job first

 

I'd guess that it won't affect you at all... but check with a recruiter.

It's mostly to ensure that the folks we bring in aren't going to bail at the first sign that this job isn't a cake walk - because its a dang hard way to make your money. The other reason is to weed out the folks who are trying to distance themselves from a bad stretch with tickets and accidents at another carrier.

 

Well I received my acceptance today from prime an sent email to recruiter tonight and have set Oct. 17 Th for start date may be able start week Oct. 10th but will wait an see. Now the hard part begins.
