Roughly 21 days. Took 3 days off while my trainer moved so not sure if those days count. I'll ask tommorow, I'm fixing to go to bed soon

now i may be behind, or i may be wrong. my understanding. if you go to the prime school. so many hours with an instructor, first to get your permit, then 10k miles to get your license, then 30k to upgrade.

if you walk in to prime with license in hand it is 40k miles.

my first trainer and me were averaging about 5k a week, so would not have taken long to get then mileage done, but as my wife pointed out previously, i sat for a week waiting on trainer to pick me up, then for over another week waiting on truck to get fixed.
we were doing quite a bit of coast to coast runs. but he had reached the end of his lease time, so had to get another trainer to finish the last 10k. plus with the first one we did almost all full shift driving so had a 34 reset just about every week. and the second one would only run a 10 hour shift max. was a couple of times i woke up for my shift to find us parked in a ts or on a ramp, with him already in bunk asleep.

still dont know why he chose to not wake me up early to keep truck rolling. guess it is all in the way that trainer does things. so that blew a day or so there per week. all in all, wasnt too bad.
but am glad i am done, just waiting on trainer to pick me up from my hometime. monday, should be back in springmo for upgrade. and hoping they have trucks ready to go, and loads available.

All of the trucks have inverters installed, whether there is an APU or not. All have bunk heaters. If you don't have an APU, get on the list (APU shop in Springfield or Pittston) - until you get one, you can idle the truck for air conditioning. That's becoming less of a problem now with fall coming on.

It's all just training for the inconsistency out there "on the road."

I read in 1 of the prime threads that they are getting cascadia's. Are they going to be mid roof or flat top where you have to bend over until you sat down on the bunk?
