Define "temporary".
Can Nate work for Pioneer out of Alberta for the next 40 years and keep his BC license. As far as I am concerned until Nate gets a "permanent" Alberta address "apartment/house" he is a BC resident and works in/for an Alberta employer. I suppose if his mail came to an Alberta address that could muddy things some.

The company is DFI.
I wish I could find a rig moving company like Flint Canada (I worked for Flint USA) moving rigs as changing job location
is one thing but changing career and job location to another country takes a lot of thought. -

When I worked for Flint USA in PA, the Big Boss in Canada was going to look into getting VISA's so we could work up there in the busy season but he got fired and so did all his plans...
I don't know how to find out who, if any, rig moving companies are looking to bring up US driver. My friend working for Flint Canada is going to look into it for me but has not got me any info if yet if Flint Canada would do it. -
In which company you are going to work? Well in Canada citizenship, if you are working in US, you have to fill out a form in the US and other for Canada; else you will get hit with double taxation.
