Somewhere dark, that's for sure...may have been one of those 'parking areas'...no facility type places...

Believe me you, if bigfoot exists, I will be the one to take it's photo, seeing as I always have three photo devices with me, and always one in tow...[IMG]

Oh, and reaction was 'As long as it doesn't enter cab, or mess with load...I'm going to bed'....

Just a family paranormal story -

When my dads brother died we got him cremated and brought him back to the house before we tool him to his final resting place. Throughout the nights he was in his jar we would have weird things happen in the house. Every night before bed we lock the front door and every morning it would be open. We also had this book that would play music when you open it, needless to say it would play music in the middle of the night while in the bookshelf closed. We still have the book and it has never played without being open since.
Nothing super creepy but there was a presence in the house while his ashes were in that jar.

I'm sorry, Ghostchild, that was me. It was just one of those nights made for wandering and someone bet me that you wore Hello Kitty footie jammies and a Sailor Moon t-shirt to bed. I said ain't no way! I lost a dollar.

LMAO!!!!!, what are some of you guy's putting into your bodies, that make you think these things?, In my 23 years of driving, been to every state, with the exception of Alaska and Hawii, and never anything supernatural, had hit a bird or two, a deer, and rabbits, cat, dog, but never thought any of them was supernatural

I saw a ghost a long time ago...35 years ago to be exact. I have no doubt that there are a lot of things in this world we don't understand. I'm just joshin' with Ghostchild.

Sometimes I have dreams where things in them come true. Usually small stupid things but at least once I had one about a major disaster which happened less than an hour after waking up. Lots of people dead. :biggrin_25513: It really played havoc with my head for a while after that. I usually don't talk about it because it doesn't help anyone and some people just get upset. People tend not to believe in it anyway.

No I can't get you lottery numbers or tell you who will win the World Series next year or when you will die-at least anymore than you can control what you are going to dream about tonight. But for what it's worth I think it's way more common than people tend to realize.

Anyway if you don't believe in there being more to the world than we think there is right now then trust me you are wrong on this one. I couldn't tell you exactly what the source of some of these things are but it is out there. Psychological, spiritual, religious, etc. or even self-delusion. Your call on that one.

Right on flguy. Those gut feelings that we all get from time to time that are proven to be right, certainly they come from somewhere. I know that as a copper I saved my own life, and the lives of others several times because of those gut feelings. Some of them were pretty obvious as to why I had them. But others, ones that I had no possible way of having foreknowledge about? They came from somewhere.

In the late 80's when Michigan had I-94 west of Detroit all tore up completely replacing the roadbed.

I was going into Detroit about 2 am in the construction zone and I seen this heavy-set elderly lady, wearing a rain coat standing behind her car in the construction zone waving her arms for me to stop. I was almost passed the elderly lady by the time I seen her and couldn't stop. So I turned around at the next exit and circled back and pulled up behind the broke-down car with my four-ways on.

Two head popped up from behind the seats and a young guy came back to the truck. I told him to get everyone out of the car and I would take them to a gas station where they could get some help. He got his wife from the car and they got into my truck and shut the passenger door.

I looked at them and said, "Is that everybody? Where is the elderly lady?" The couple looked puzzled and asked what I was talking about. So I told them the story of the elderly lady flagging me done and described her to the couple.

Immediately the woman burst into tears and said that she had heard your guardian angel looks like a deceased relative. She went on to explain that her grandmother had passed away earlier that year and I had just described her grandmother to a 'T'

This story still gives me goosebumps just thinking about it all these years later.

Can't wait to meet that elderly lady some day. For once in my life, I did something right that night! :)

I better believe in ghost, i'm going to be one in 3 years or less, at least thats what the doc says. I'd be mighty aggravated to not get to come back and mess with people.

I dont want to be a mean ghost, but rather a fun ghost.

But the question still lingers.... what and how are ghost?
sure they got these crappy shows that are fun to watch, but they dont really do any research.
If i was rich i'd buy a haunted house, wire it up and study it 24x7. Learn all i could.
    I mean the question remains,
are ghost dead people, or memories projected from our minds (i know this sounds a bit out there, but run with it. Science has proven that every living thing is connected at the molecular level.) Or even the hypothesis of a alternate universe or dimension.
The shows and people involved in investigating, never get to the heart of the matter which is What is a ghost, Why is it there, How is it there.
We could learn a lot about our self if we could just answer those few questions.
