I m a recent grad from c1 trucking school in fort Wayne , I have signed on with Pam .This Friday i find out when to expect my trainer .I heard all kinds of good things and bad things about Pam .I just have so questions and was hoping you all could answer them for me. 1) How long are you out with you're trainer before you return home?2)what's the next step after you're done with you're trainer . I heard something about an orientation what happens there?3) I have signed on for team how bad is it running teams?4) How old is the average tractor?

Yeah, it was definitely their fault, even though I doubt you did a thorough inspection daily. Granted, the shops were indeed crap at times, but still... I had two trucks that I ran well over 500k, and the only reason I was in a shop for either of them was for a blown radiator. I may have just got lucky...but to put full blame on them cuz you broke down...makes me chuckle.

So that entire 8 hours all you did was send in one Qualcomm message?Noggin Thanks this. -
Dude..it wasn't what damage you did its that EVERYTHING you did was a PREVENTABLE situation to the company
You put yourself and their truck in the situation that caused you to have to turn tight and damaged the truck..
You put Yourself in the situation that caused the side swipe by not monitoring what was going on around you as you were driving..both are preventable an the eyes of the company and DOT
The broken hinge bolt on the hood could have caused excess vibration in the hood causing the other hinge bolts to either shear off or vibrate loose causing the hood to separate itself from the truck and cause you to wreck or cause someone else to wreck or worse kill someone and checking those sorts of things are kind of your job to look at each day..
an 18 wheeler is not a car..you can't just whip it around a tight 180 and not expect the tractor to touch the trailer..
If it had bee my truck I would have made you pay for the damages..then fired you simply because your brain was in neutral
Wow
Peteychrismcallister34 Thanks this. -
This maybe an old post but its crazy to do stupid things and blame the company. And then throw in the race card as the original poster stated. Wow
