    Sounds like we all have a million reasons to stop by soon.

    "Peterbilt Dealer Announces $1M Investment in Tornado Affected Georgia Location
    Ringgold, GA (October 21, 2011) - Five months after a destructive F4 tornado struck Ringgold, Georgia, a local Peterbilt dealership is announcing a one million dollar investment towards the renovation of their location. The Peterbilt Store – North Georgia (a division of The Pete Store, LLC) sustained significant damage to its facility on April 21, 2011 during one of the most active tornado seasons in recent history."

    Hey LBZ, not trying to be a wise ### here but is it your trailer ABS light or your tractor ABS light?

    I can't remember on the 385's but is there two seperate lights for ABS malfunction? If there is just one drop your trailer and see if the light goes out if it does problems in your trailer.

    If not problems in your tractor, either way most probable a wheel sensor. JMHO

    I cursed the trailer for 20 miles thinking that was it. But remember when I bought the trailer, it set off the trailer ABS light & this is the tractor light on/different graphic lit up.

    Reset the battery & looked around, but nothing noticeable. Have to go out to KW tomorrow anyway, was just hoping for a fix not requiring purchase.

    if you pull the light out of the dash, it wont be a problem any more :biggrin_25525:

    Yeah thought about that or black tape across it. ;)
    But disconnected the trailer, reset everything light stayed on.
    Dropped the air bags, pulled up a few feet & it went off. Hopefully it stays off.

    What are the actual differences between the 387 and replacement 587 models specifically? All I see is a slightly lower hood at the front.

    Could be one of the sensors on the wheel needs adjusting? It solved the problem for me ... but then my relic goes back to the Carter administration... tough old girl and I love her for it!

    @BretStep

    Agree that the 587 looks a whole lot like the 387 but essentially everything from the firewall forward is new. New Hood, bumper, suspension, fenders, etc. It also has an entirely new chassis under it (similar to the 386) which makes for a significantly more predictable, stable ride than the 387. They will be introducing an all-new dash for 587 very soon which will allow for better visibility and a few other new enhancements. I hope this answers your question.
