Received and email from my little brother the other day..Said he is changing careers and boarding the silver dog from Calif on Saturday headed for the FFE Academy. Good thing is he was accepted at 58yrs old and we have a lot of family in Tx. Would like to thank all of you guys for a positive thread with a ton of great info for those looking to make trucking a new career..Hell, I might even give it shot if they accept old farts.

 

Hope Yall are having a great thanksgiving. My dinner is the all-star special at the waffle house. Yay me. Atleast they have pecan pie

 

We had a feast we grilled 3 turkeys 2 apple pies and brownies. Baked potatoes stuffing and grilled rolls. Now we are having a football watchin party.

 

that was my old room there playmaker. wish there was a ta or pilot around here but there isn't jack around. the ryans that was here closed down about 6 months ago so all they had opened was wendys at the pilot, dennys(god no) and the awe full waffle.

 

I'm sitting at the Lancaster hotel waiting til Tuesday to go out with my trainer

 

I'm in #5 which is upstairs. Not that I hate stairs or anything lol But its only for two weeks.

 

o its all good. we had 2 people around that age in our class. hell iit isn't the hardest job. had a friend tell me to "get off my butt and work" and i was wondering what this guy thinks my job is... aint i paid to sit on my butt.. lol
