Miles have not been a problem for me, most of the time have my next load before I deliver the one I'm on. Pay is kinda low I guess starting out but you get a bunch of raises pretty quickly. Don't know the current situation but I had to wait a week to get my truck and have kept it since then.

 

Where at in MI?..im in Battle Creek and I am planning on going to training soon..as well.

 

I can go om DEC 19th, but I think I will wait till the first classin January, although if the 19th works for you, I might reconsider and we def can go together, we should meet up and discuss at some point, Im over in urbandale, where are you?

 

My son tested out the end of july in Harrisberg Pa and got his truck as soon as he came back from hometime.He's dedicated regional making 44cpm and has grossed as low as $428 and as high as $1,511,once he learns how to maximise his drive hours,he should do better;they always have loads available for him.I understand from other posters that freight slows down somewhat after the holidays then picks up again coming into spring but I guess it also depends on what account or region you're on.

 

LoL..yeah I know where that is..LoL..Are you needing to go down to school as well, or just over to new boston?..I asked kris if i could just go do the road test and see if I can pass, if not then Ill do school..but thinking I might go to school on the 19th..Ill keep you posted, but let me know what you have to do if you just have to go over to the terminal then I can do the school and be back in january..anyway lets work it out..=}

 

training should take about 3 weeks, if i go on the 19th then I will be ready by january. If she lets me just go take the road test and go right with the trainer, might be quicker than that, Ill let you know what she says and what time frame im looking at.
