EVOk.. ive seen all of the horror stories about jb hunt, but they all seem to be from lease purchase or company drivers. Im curious about their broker program for owner ops who have their own truck that jb has no claim to. I see alot of smaller companies out here around the chicago area doing it and seem to be happy with them. Now from what i understand, thyey have a load board to pick their loads from and dont have to use a jb hunt dispatcher.

So my question is this... Are any of you doing this and from those of you who are doing it how is it working out for you? Good and bad points?

I want honest answers from people who have done/are currently doing this program. Sorry co drivers or l/p ops. I will be owning my truck outright and not going l/p, so the only part that will be jbs would be the trailers and authority (to start with anyways)

How long your authority has to be in business before JB Hunt will tender a load to you?
I have multiple answers from carriers. They say that they started to haul for them immediately after getting their authority, but when I call to book a load they say you have to be in business for at least one year. So my question is that, has any one of you have had any similar experience with them???

Can some one forward this question to others and JB Hunt related personals
