    Rumpke Recycling.

So I get there. Wait and wait and wait. Bump the dock. wait and wait and wait. Get loaded, then go to scale out. Look up at the numbers: 84,000.
Go back, and they take off 5 bales. Go to re-scale. 76,000. Great! "We need you to come back to the dock so we can put more on." *groan* So they put 2 more bales on. Scale out, 78,000. Okay! Come get your paperwork.

Since they don't do axle weights I had to do the gross, tandems+drives, and tandems weights and then figure the rest out from that. Once I left I went to the Pilot at x36 and found out their scale was off by about 420lbs but I was still legal all around so I was happy.

Oh, if you ever need a portable toilet, call Rumpke. They have A LOT just sitting there waiting for warm tushies.

Oh, the guy who was loading my trailer. Since the recycled bales were a little wet/damp, that threw off the weight. He's normally really good at knowing how many bales to put on a trailer and this was the first time in a looong time he's been way off. I think he was as shocked as I was to find out my gross at first weigh was 84k.

A lot of people's trash goes there. You should have seen the large bales of nothing but 1 gallon jugs! I sent a pic to my mom titled "that's a lot of milk".

I also saw a pneumatic dump drop off a load of...something. As soon as he left a HUGE swarm of birds swooped down and started picking through the pile. Dunno what they were looking for but there were a lot of them and there must have been something good among all that rubbish.
