Well, I've been reading and just staying hidden for a few months.
Over the past few months I have gone with my neighbor who is a truck driver on his routes for 2 months in a row when I could. He's a city driver and so on.
When I graduated High School in 2007, I drove straight truck for the summer at a place and only need a Chauffeurs license. I loved driving and delivering and interacting with the customers.
Well after working part time in doing everything from lawn mowing to working in Radio which is what I'm doing now. I decided I am going to get my CDL and get a full time job.
My goal- Work for a road commission, plow snow and grade roads and all that. And if I have to drive semi part time or full time, so be it. I won't do over the road, I will find a city driving job.
After the new year, I will be attending West Michigan CDL, I have researched for months on different schools in the area and WMCDL was the one I chose, I took the test to get my T.I.P. gotta get a D.O.T. physical, and I should probably tell my current employer that I am leaving as well.
Attending School after new year
