I got tired of waiting on QC and used the phone for the first time since I started. Spoke with my FM and he got things squared away real quick. The main reasons I was so eager to get home was needing to get my eyes examined (been having headaches lately and trouble reading some road signs) as well as needing to get my Hazmat taken care of.

Sitting in Knoxville, no 34 hr reset another driver messed up on hours so I had to go repower his load and drive all night after being up all day screwing up my reset. Was suppose to be headed twords Taylor so I could renew my fast card but headed twords PA instead tomorrow w/ a hazmat load then probably to Canada. We shall see hope operations realizes I can't renew my fast card Saturday-Monday in Detroit

Sitting in Hubbard, OH this morning, finishing off a break. I left Joplin last Sunday heading toward Syracuse, NY and Cranston, RI. I had 42000 lbs of window frames in the trailer. Over 1400 boxes, none on pallets. Syracuse took one box. Cranston customer had to unld the rest. Each box had to be individually removed from the trailer. I arrive there early afternoon Tuesday. They finished unld 24 hours later. I was rewarded for my patience with a nice long load to Denver, CO. Did not have to be at the customer until Thursday afternoon, so was able to get a restart. Weather wise it looks like I may have it pretty good. Hope it stays that way.
    MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!:santa:

Just got my Hazmat taken and passed, tomorrow do my FAST so I can get it completed. Was supposed to be leaving out tomorrow, but the scheduling to get my HazMat killed that.

The FAST takes forever to get back approval to set up a meeting. Took mine 5 weeks. Also, make sure if someone at Con-Way told you to get it that you remember who it was because they will not route you to anywhere to get your interveiw done because "you don't need it". I had this happen to me even though being a Canada Turn truck/ NE Canada truck I was told I had to get it. Now I will be doing it while at home for Christmas on my own time, using my own fuel to get 175 miles round trip (30 gal in my F250). All this after unearthing the fact my current FM was not paying me any stop pay, half my border crossing pay, and "forgetting" reimbursements while denying others (parking, showers, and w/w fluid.

Luckily I'm now getting a new FM and was told there may be a chance to be reimbursed for getting FAST on my own time/dime. I can honestly say this is my only bad experience so far and other FM's are doing everything they can to remedy the issue and are doing a fantastic job.

**In PA picking up a 4 stop tomorrow AM to get me home for Wednesday
