I have thought about going to the patch. I know you are up there and I'm really happy that you are kickin butt up there. What companies would be good to talk to up there do you think Nate. I know that it pays well and that one can gain valuable experience up there. How has your experience been up there? Thanks Nate.

Wow, do you think the best way to go about things would be to call a recruiter or deal with it online? I would be very happy to work for Bison. Thanks itsneversafe.

Just Phone the interview number for bison
Might want your license in hand first though they don't like having their time wasted in my experience

Hi there, I am still looking for a decent company that will hire me on and let me drive solo. At this point I am very comfortable behind the wheel and am just ready to work. As a dual citizen of the US and Canada I would preferably like as many runs down south as possible, below is an example of a letter I am sending to a few prospective employers. Is there anyone here with any outfits that would be willing to hire me. Happy Holidays and god Bless.

I am a new CDL holder, but have been trained by the best at Valley Driving School and was also trained by my uncle who is an owner operator in the US. I am a dual US and Canadian Citizen and have no criminal record as well as a clean drivers abstract. Ultimately, I am hoping to stay out on the road as much as possible and am really looking forward to hitting the road. My driving is very good and I would like to drive solo if possible. I am a good communicator, a very hard worker, as well as loyal. I'm looking forward to hearing from you and wish you a Happy Holidays.

If you want to drive US then start calling US Companies, Go through the forum above, take note of who is naughty and nice and then start making phone calls...

There are definitely some Can Companies that can keep you running into the Us, but its certainly going to be less likely then if you base out of Seattle area. When you run as a Canadian employee, you can only P/U OR Deliver in the Us, you cannot do both, with your dual citizenship you could run for a US Company as a Us driver.
This would allow you to run strictly US, or US and Canada, but you will only be able to P/U OR Deliver in Canada, again you cannot do both.

If you want to go to work in the Oil Patch search the job boards for Minot, Bismarck, and Williston, North Dakota, but beware there is no place to live, and living out of your truck while doing long haul is one thing, doing it while working in the patch is another....

Do some research, and you will find something....
