Well that's just peachy keen. There goes some of the freight I used to pull from Laredo to NC.

How many lost loads will it take before the NC based carrier that "used" to carry that freight goes belly up.

That's getting things off on the right foot... He thinks it's a joke? Wait until something ugly DOES happen...

    That's a surprise... not...

It won't take long because they don't mind living in a truck with 2 or even 3 drivers! while the old carrier had drivers with a house and family to support, #### them!

    Nice stereotyping there.

Also, Mexican truck drivers don't have families to support?

Not at the expense of American jobs and loads, who cares, keep them out.

While a lot of steretypical comments are laced with hate and ignorance, there is also an underlying reality in a lot of them.

I count three in the truck. The fact of the matter is, a lot of Mexicans are going to be willing to cram three in a truck and drive 24/7.

although that gal driving that truck in the video is hispanic, she speaks perfect english, and the person in the sleeper looked like one of her kids(small feet).these ARE NOT the mexican drivers to get upset about! i do not care what race you are as long as you are a legal citizen, working for the future of your family,as we are all doing that. it is the ones who cannot read, write nor speak english who in reality should not be allowed to hold a CDL-this is a safety issue.racism doesn't help our argument, but the legal and safety issues are being overlooked.although i made a sarcastic post regarding how to make the Mexican truckers feel not welcome here elsewhere in this forum.my main gripe is when preference is given to "minorities" when in fact no preference should be made regarding race.we can thank our brainwashed politicians that are more concerned with being politically correct than protecting the future of american workers

If this company is indeed running the way it's owner claims it is, then KUDOS to him! He's buying American trucks, running by American standards. He's waited YEARS for this! Let's let each and every one of these INDIVIDUALS PROVE who they are, and each and every company show how they are gonna operate before we start judging them!

Look guys, I am very pro-AMERICAN trucker, but the fact of the matter is, I don't care where you live, what race you identify yourself with, or what company you work for, or even where your load originates. Every driver out there has a certain obligation to help insure that the others make it home safe!

Who knows, maybe in a few years this company may be one we are discussing on this forums as one we would like to work for!

Since we can't seem to stop the "Wheels of Progress", let's adapt to it the best the can. You know, "If life hands you lemons, make lemonade!" kind of thing! Who knows, maybe we can make something good of it.

Yeah she does speak perfect english, but I cannot tell if that is a kid or not from the feet. It very well could be. The caption says Perez and Sons trucking, but I couldn't find any info on the web. Its probably a US O/O, just judging by the traffic on the highway. Regardless, I would be worried about them being on the road just from the apparent lack of concern for safety on a two lane highway.
