Everyone have their headsets?

The point here is the more you goverenment intrudes into your life the more they will. Accidents happen all the time with or without a phone this is a sympathty ploy that is used to generate feelings that don't coenside with common sense. Having no basis in facts, logic or reasoning and assembled from hasty and flawed data. This has no bearing on me as I am the one always passed, I own the slowest truck on the road.

 

Fact is this new rule is a knee jerk reaction to the wreck pictured below.
19 y/o supposedly texting while driving, no one will ever know if that was the cause he's to dead to ask. But lets blame the big truck cause it got hit in the rear?? Lets not forget the school buses fault theres two of them they rear ended the pick up whats their reason on why they crashed?? It's always the trucks fault. You display the goverenment knows best attitude but from NY what could I expect? Goverenment can't run a fruit stand. Goverenment ran lets' see fannie,freddie,usps, social security, education and two wars lots of great success stories here? So you trust them to run your life not me. How long have you had your authority?, interstate, intrastate or what? How many inspections you had? True egg spurts at governement get it right all the time. you can mail king ray your cell phone of you like if you feel it will make us all more safe.

 

Do tell how are you making a difference? How many times have you gone to court or hearings and had tickets dissmissed ? or had OOS removed and fines rescinded? Or you one of these guys I run accross in the scalehouse that looks at their tickets and say yes sir, yea sir, may I shine your shoes now sir? Now I have proven that a officer has to reflect accurately the type of inspection he is doing and DO WHAT IS REQUIRED OF THAT TYPE also I broke up a deputy in ruther glen that was writing bougus tickets to truckers for illegal U turns at the pilot at exit 104 before they redone the road. The sad part was ten minutes before my case was heard some trucker had hired a worthless lawyer to represent him(driver not there) and he was found guilty of same thing, of course lawyer will apeall it for more money. Apparently this deputy was pretty hard on all citizens there cause when judge slammed gavel and said NOT GUILTY the court clapped.

Now don't get me wrong I'm all for safety. The first thing to improve safety would be more chlorox in the gene pool. I personally think this rule will ultimately cause more accidents. As to being banned from another fourum that was cause I openly pointed a certain"dispatch service" pandered the unknowing into buying lots of equipment to haul cheap LTL freight . That is still being borne out as most of the guys that were there have tried to sell their trucks, get bigger ones, gone to hauling cars, went back to being a company driver and etc. You didn't answer are you interstate or intrastate ? how many many inspections?


If this is your number 2196844 I could probabally offer you a suggesttion on how to adjust your filing that would make your insurance cheaper. If you quit looking at trees you will see the forrest.

 

Reason I asked was to change the subject some. second seeing how many times you have actcually been pulled around back for inspections?
The point here is we already have rules to cover this. typical governement action. If they would enforce the rules they have new ones would be unneeded. Instead they make more burdensome ones, to cover up for their ineptness. If you will notice it's always after the fact they want to burden us some more. I already had a phone use safety plan long before this. First thing is when using phone I would slow down 5-10 mph than rest of traffic. Stay in right lane, allow twice the disctance from vehicle in front of me and turn off cruise control. To prove a point look up UCR's mandate it serves no purpose except to get out money. IRP,IFTA and UCR could be rooled in to one agency as most states use one department to administer it. Another is you get irp in all 48 states , well you still have to get NM and Or. Permit to to run there what a rip off. This is just a few of the unfair double taxation things they do to us. Not to mention if your running a real hotshot dually/gooseneck ypour the first one bothered. If no one has told you we are the ones who violate all the rules.
