My Husband has been working with Swift for about 6 months and we have never had a problem getting his pay check while he is on the road. If he was a few days late getting some paperwork in he would still get paid for that run. but he hasn't gott paid for any of his runs since Jan. 1st and he has gotten his paperwork turned in. Does anyone know if Swift has changed the way there pay system works as of 2012?
Did swift change their pay policy for 2012?

Not as far as I know.
He should probably call payroll and ask about it. -
we just noticed today so we will have to wait till monday. They did switch him to a new Drive manager this week so not sure if that had anything to do with it...

Monday is MLK Day.

Banks take as many days off as they possibly can.
But back to the O/P, I have no idea why hubby wasn't paid. Unless he took some advances that wifey doesn't know about. My payroll went through just fine. Of course, I was in the negative since I took a week off. But I just looked at my settlement for Monday (heh...) and I'm not only back in the black, but am getting a pretty much standard check. -
Paychecks have been normal for me too so far in 2012. Yesterday afternoon I looked to see what Monday's paycheck will be and it was available on the website as usual.
Maybe your hubby inadvertently forgot to turn in a BOL? Check the "trips missing paperwork" area on the Swift website and see if there is anything listed. -
I think it is when you turn in 20 bills of lading (scanned I mean) within 5 days or less after delivery that you go on the automatic pay for each load that is empty called. If he forgot to turn one in like after the 5th day, it (the system) might take you off auto pay even if you had 50 trips scanned in on time.
In my case I've not received the West Coast fuel surcharge rebate for the last 2 weeks running and nobody answering the qualcomm question about it. I called on the phone and the pod person told me to wait til my main DM comes back to work....Last edited: Jan 14, 2012

If you start to make a habit of turning in BOLS late you will be dropped from accelerated pay. You then will not be paid until the pay period after the BOLs are received and cleared with the customer. Once dropped from accelerated pay it takes awhile to get back on.
Or your husband has taken a few advances out and is laying the short paycheck off on Swift.scottied67 Thanks this. -
Thanks everyone!! he has gotten all his paperwork in and talked to someone this morning.. being that it is Sat his DM is not in today so he has to wait till Mon. The person he talked to said they hadn't changed anything and that he needs to take it up with his DM. Swift just switched him to a new drive manager.. oh wait a new drive leader is what there called now
.Not sure if the switch had anything to do with him not getting paid or not..Hope fully he will get more info on Monday. agian Thanks everyone
