Another no no...something I've been doing to much of lately...
Been trying to mimic those TV chefs, or those TV skillet shows where you use to see them dumping a whole bucket of seasoning into the skillet...

After I type this, I'm going to take every single container of seasoning whatever and throw it right in the trash...

I'll keep the ground red pepper though...I like hot stuff...but the rest of it must go....

In the past, I never seasoned my food, ever...but recently, maybe over the last few months, I begin doing so...and notice a difference in my cardio health...the stuff is bad...and must go...at least for me...

I use to pride myself in good health...but it's amazing how just 4-5 months of bad eating can wreak havoc...so after this, all the salts must go...

I learned the dangers of fast food, junk food, while out on the road...[IMG]

But now I'm realizing that even being home, if not careful, you can inadvertently bring much of that stuff home with you, in the form of salts, and spices, and pickels and sauces ect ect...so in essence your still poisoning yourself...or embolming yourself while alive...

Turning your insides into pickled matter...
    It's a learning curve...that's for sure...

Finally something that's good for you...at least in moderation...
And that is crushed red peppers...

    1. Digestive aid...

    2. Lowers blood pressure, widens viens and arteries...stimulates healthy blood flow...has reverse effect of salts...(yippi)...

    3. And helps immune system...

    http://www.livestrong.com/article/486123-what-are-the-health-benefits-of-crushed-red-pepper/

Tomorrow I will go out and see if I can find a place that sells whole red peppers and I'll just chop them up myself...the hot kind...

And I think that's all for now...but I think it's neat knowing that peppers actually lower blood pressure and increase circulation...

    I've learned much tonight...

Ok, I'm still trying to solve this health mystery...

I've thus far eliminated many culprits...including

    1. Excess sodium...
    2. Energy drinks...

And be careful about buying pre-seasoned chicken in the meat section...

Cause I did, and when I cooked and heated it both on stove and later in microwave to re-heat eat...a yellowish greenish like oily ooze collected at the bottom of the pan and or plate the chicken was in...

It looked just like anti-freeze...had that same exact look to it...

Only it was more like the yellow brand of antifreeze...
Should of saved the it, and had a chemist examine it...

To me it was poison...plain and simple...

And it seems more and more food industries are lacing their foods with embolming oils and salts...so your insides become pickled, while still alive...

So your kidneys break down on you, before you reach 35 or 40....all these edible toxins streaming through your blood veins and arteries, and deposited in your liver and kidneys...and stressing your poor heart out...makeing your heart beat off rythmn...
    Throwing off bodies electrical pulse...

Someones trying to kill us, and they're doing it through the food...

Heck, never mind beer...beer and light drinking is the least of your worries, it's all the stuff you consume around your drink that's really destroying our bodies...

And they're getting away with it...

Through the stuff they put in these foods, they're doing more damage to us than the terrorist ever could...

I'm learning now that some of the things, or maybe a lot of things, sold and bought inside of grocery stores are just as bad or toxic for you as the things you buy at fast food joints...

Maybe even worse, in that fast food places are probably watched a lot closer do to younger consumers...

If a young kid gets sick or dies eating a happy meal...that's world news...
But if some older over weight male dies at home after consuming a pot off meat, he brought from store, that was laced with some kind of toxic preservative...no one would even notice...

They'll just figure, since the man was older, he or she is suppose to die anyhow...

'So what's the big deal, wrap em up and send em to the morge'...

Careful folks, what you put in your bodies, expecially if you live in urban areas...

Another thing that could effect our health, my health, your health, that many of us may not take not of...is house hold chemical cleaners and disinfectants...

I know this is one of the 'duh' moments...but I just realized that minutes ago...and that's cause I'm on a mission to rid my life of all unhealthy substances...(except beer)...

I'm really out to proove that beer may be the least of our worries...

I know sitting up on my counter now I have

    1. Clorox 'Clean-up' cleaner with bleach...

    2. 409 all purpose cleaner...

    3. Lavender 'All purpose cleaner' it's purple...

I use this stuff daily on counter tops, but never really considered what happens to the residue...
Sure, I spray and wipe...but what of the gases left behind by these products, the vapors? the accumilative effect of all these chemicals in a poorly ventalated encloser....

    Soooooo....

I guess that means I'll start useing just water and or water and a bit of soap...and try that for a while, and measure the results just through how I feel...

So I'm realizing there's many things that can effect our health in adverse ways, not just food, but also chemical sprays we use, and even heaters...

    http://voices.yahoo.com/the-effects-house-hold-chemicals-their-natural-4130497.html

The information in this link or the article, will open your eyes to the dangers of house hold cleaners...scary stuff...

Toxins found in some household cleaners, and effects they could have on you...

Cresol : Found in many disinfectants...Breathing problems, dizzyness, diahrea, kidney problems , headaches and stomache aches...

I'm not going to list anymore to save time...but read about the effects some of these ingrediants have on your body...and it could explain much about mystery illnesses, kidney failer ect ect...

Interested in the healthy eating stuff to an extent. I love cooking and will keep using spices at home(I'm still gonna die some day) but for me to follow this more, I need more actual information vitamins, minerals, exercise. Its good to cleanse your life but I'm not going anywhere near the extremes you are

I'll admit...the last several posts were kind of 'panic' posts...[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Whatever I ate, or was eating, was causing odd effects on me body...so I panicked...

It has since stopped...but I think it was the additives in that store brought chicken, and the dill pickels, and just high sodium in take...I just wasn't paying attention...

So when I panicked...rather than go to the doctor and waste $800.00 just for them to tell me 'Your health is fine, now put on your clothes'...I did some investigating on me own...

I'm just not down for these exam rooms anymore...where your told to strip naked and put on some napkin gown...like a thin gown made of Downy napkin material...and it's like see through...

So your like naked, waiting in this room, people keep walking in...your wondering if your being observed by a camera...

Next thing you know your on Youtube and Facebook seen wearing a see through napkin gown, and spotted taking ments from candy bowl...

I just don't need all that...

And then after waiting 30 minutes, you get some doctor who walks in looking like this...

And the first thing they want to do is grab your ping pong...and tell you to cough...
Ok, is that really still nessicary in the year 2012?

Do they not have a more sophisticated method of doing this by now??

Ok, I'm tired of the humiliation....
I'v known stranger doc for 2 minutes, and they're reaching for my ping pong...in the name of medicine...ye ok....

Then they turn you over and flip ya back side up like a pancake...

Lay ya down on that creepy bed thing, and start tickling ya...

Ok, I'm very ticklish, and the last medical exam I had...had to tell doc and his assistant to chill...

    'Oh, we're testing reflexes'......

And I'm like 'reflx this moe foe'.....

Now here comes the doggon white gloves, revenge I guess for questioning him... you know, the whole 'Moon river' thing...

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EfzXpE0QB2U[/ame]

Like the guy said...'Ever served time doc?'

Anyhow...to save myself all the drama of going through that at the clinic...I just prefer a good dose of preventitive action...

Cause If I have to go through all that again...I'm just not sure what I'm going to do...

Odd thing is, after posting above post last night...I was told today that I had to go to the 'doc' to get updated physical...

So indeed...I did end up having to go to the clinic...

I'll tell ya about it later tonight...the good, the bad and the ugly...

Well...as i posted above...I did have to go to the clinic today, for standard 'physical'...where I basically stood or sat around for 3 hours for a physical that lasted less than 5 minutes....meaning the time me and doc had in room together...

All he seemed interested in doing is going after me ping pongs...and I told him 'No, that's ok'....

He was like 'Do you have a hernia, do you want me to check?'...:yes2557:

And since he gave me a choice...I was like 'No, that's ok...I'm fine...:biggrin_25512:

Other than that...they just had me breath in and out a few times...and that was basically it...

My blood pressure was extremley low when they checked it...which really suprised me...expecially since I've been sitting around a lot lately, and pigging out...and the whole Broc Lesner Coors light thing...

It must be genetics or something...
The exam wasn't very thorough at all...more like a fast food, in and out type of deal...but they sure make you wait a long time...3 hours, for only 5 minutes with doc.....

But I'm cleared, and physical is good for 2 more years now...

Maybe my blood pressure was so low do to what i wrote about in post #22, about 'Crushed red peppers'...and how red peppers helps to lower blood pressure....opens up arteries and viens, and even removes plaque and stuff...(I think)...

But since reading up on peppers, I've sure dumped a lot on my food lately...even went out and bought some hot green halowpe'no type peppers...

I chop up a few bits at a time and put in food...
Very hot...but the key to not burning your mouth or tongue is to just swallow it...and don't sit there and chew on it like gum...and or when cooked, the cooking process seems to rid it of its potancy...or strength...

Anyways...I scored pretty well today on physical...not that they did much...other than instant urine test to see if I had diabetes, and other such things...negative...it all came back negative...

Again I'm suprised...cause admitedly I have exactly lived the most in shape life over the last 3 months...

I do want to loose some weight though...I think it's just 'beer' weight from sitting around for 3 months...

    Anyways...I got what I want...I think...local runs, home daily...like from 7am-4pm...or near bouts...

But that's something I'll discuss on another thread...later...

I like the title of this thread, cause it allows me to cover a wide range of issues that effect health, fitness and wellness...which is basically everything under the sun...

First off...I hope everyones having a wonderful Sunday or Funday, wherever it may find you...

I woke up feeling 'good' for some reason...and found that very odd...

I say that, cause I've been in the middle of a storm lately...just got re-employed after being off for about 3 months...and there for facing the consequences of that...

But regardless...i woke up feeling good...content, and even a bit happy...

And so me being the investigative type I am, I set off wondering why was i feeling 'better', but for no apparent tangible reason....

    Then I figured it out...

In the past, and throughout most of my driving years, Sunday always represented the day of departure...

Meaning it was the day I'd have to climb back into truck and depart for a minimum of 10 days...

Now when I was younger, and trucking was still new to me...I actually loved that, delighted in that, it made me feel 'important'...like a business man climbing aboard a jet going on an important mission, off to some strange land...

I literaly related to it as such...I simply transfered my love for aviation and travel, into trucking...and would sometimes even pretend the truck was indeed an airplane...

That's how it felt to leave on Sundays, back when I had a different attitude towards myself, trucking, and the world around me...

    Fast forward....

Then suddenly, years later...climbing back into the truck on Sunday, knowing I'd be gone for weeks, felt more like this to me...

Yes..it started feeling more like I was climbing inside of a paddy wagon to be hauled away and punished for 21 days...as if to serve out a sentence inside of the truck...

And for the past several years, that's what Sundays have felt like to me...Sundays were always the day I had to prepare to step back inside of the paddy wagon...and as a result it begin to have an accumilative effect on my over all moral and happiness...

For what ever reasons...I no longer enjoyed the feeling of climbing into a truck, moving stuff back in, knowing I'd be away for weeks at a time...regardless of what I earned while out there...

So today, for the first time in a long time...I woke up feeling like 'Hey, you have a job, and it's still driving, and by gosh, you don't have to leave to go anywhere...you can actually stay home, enjoy the whole day from sunrise to sunset...and not have to go anywhere'....

And I think that realization hit my subconscious, before it hit me...and that probably explains why I just woke up feeling 'better' than I did yesterday...

Cause it's slowly hitting me that I'm 'free'...I somehow managed to do it...to get a job that allows me to work M-F, off on weekends...while still driving...and that's no easy task...

Healing can be a long drawn out process...and that's what I think I'm trying to do right now, is heal...

Trucking indead can be brutal on the moral at times...not the physical part, rather the schedualing part...

Is my life perfect because I have local job?...heck no...not even...

But there's just something soothing or comforting knowing that I don't have to be tore away from my home or dwelling for weeks at a time...that whatever it is I have to face...I can do so from here, I don't have to run away anymore...

Knowing that if I make a friend or two...I don't have to tear away and not see them for weeks or months at a time...And I need that right now...in order to heal...

So I consider that apart of 'Wellness'...over all health of body, spirit and mind...

And being off all weekend, away from truck, trucks, really does help me 'reset' the mind...I can step away...recharge, start anew...

Not having to worry about getting a call today or a 'beep'...does wonders...knowing the whole day is mine...

There was no worse feeling for me, than on Sundays, wondering when that call or beep would come to 'hit it'...what would I be doing? what would I be in the middle of...should I have this beer or not...what if i do and they call...what if I don't and they don't call...what if I want to go to the beach and relax, and as soon as i get there, they call...??

All that equated into stress....and stress is a killer...and is contributed to lots of other illnesses, expecially as you get older...stress is toxic...and so I'm trying to eliminate as much of it as I can from my life now...

Anyways...it's nice and sunny where I'm at...think I'll go play or do something...later...

(I like this graphic, it was titled 'Sunny day in the hood'...)

Just got back from a bike ride...returned movie, and purchased some hair cream...

Sure, I could of hoped in vehicle and wasted about 1.00 in gas...but it's nice out, I needed the excercise, so why not...

I'm really trying to get back to my skinny jean size...

I notice the slimmer and leaner you are, the easier things are to do...and if you add a healthy diet on top of that, and remove beer...the akeelese heel, than you just start feeling better...

I know we're all going to die...but while I'm alive and have to deal with this world, I want to do so in a body that isn't plaqued with health issues related to bad health...

I've also seen what can happen if you sit around for 3 months or so, like I did, and don't make an effort to stay active...even if your slim...dramatic things can occur...

My goal is to always be the first siloette....

Although this scale is being generious in that it assumes everyone is tall and lean and propartioned...weight gain doesn't always look or occur in such a uniform manner...

Being slim and fit in and of itself won't net you a better job or raise, or allow you to win the lottery, or win you friends or make people treat you better...

Being fit can only really be measured in ways that effect you personally...

If you have a bad personality, being fit won't change that...or if you have a good personality, being overweight won't change that either...

I just know with myself...being fit helps make other tasks of my life easier...and makes me feel better when I look in the mirror or take photos...

Anyhow time to get this gunk out of me hair...
