Just a note to anyone who might be interested. I worked for P.
A.M transport for almost 4 years. They put me through trucking school in partnership with Driver Solutions. I payed my dues for the trucking school, with $150 / month taken out the entire first year. P.A.M transport was to pay the balance of $4200. I quit P.A.M .T a few months ago, today I get a bill from Driver solutions for $4375.Is this a rip off , fraudulent scheme or what.
Anyone with ideas as to what I can do to resolve this matter ,feel free to post a reply. I would hate to see my credit rating get screwed. Also any insight on getting legal help , would be appreciated.

If you got all your paperwork together, file a suit against them in small claims court (under $10,000).

As long as you can prove you held up your end of the bargain, you will win.

You need to read your contracts from Drivers Solution and PAM. Did you ever get your certificate from Drivers Solution? If so.....your account was paid. They will not let you graduate if they are not paid. Did you call to ask why they say you owe this? Maybe it is a bookeeping error. I know alot of drivers who went through Drivers Solution with PAM and not once has this ever been a problem. Before you get all worked up...check the contract, see if you got your certificate, call Drivers Solutions and ask questions......Good luck!

By the way.....they take $45 a week out of each check.

    Call them and find out.

Maybe there was a 5 year clause in the fine print like a 401K. You don't work for a company 5 years, they'll take back every matching penny they contributed to the 401K. I suspect something like that is in the contract.

They make mistakes, call them. They even sent me some other driver's over payment refund! I just called them and sent it back. Has to be a clerical error

Thanks, y'all for your insight and timely response. Sevenmph turned out to be correct. The letter was sent to me due to a clerical error. They confirmed that I was all paid up. Whew! Just goes to show , though, that one can never take things for granted. Anybody out there thinking of going through a trucking school, keep your records. Bye now ...
