You might find a small fleet or O/O that wants to put someone in the truck. The only problem I see is that both of you have something significant that tells carriers to back away from you.

The issue is 99 percent of the companies out here wont hire you if you have a failed drug test. They only way I can see it working out is if you t0 find a small fleet to work for. Other wise your SOL right now.

Sorry to say that but I do wish you the best of luck.

It will be difficult for most carriers to get you covered on their insurance with a speeding ticket that is 15 mph over the posted speed. Carriers and insurance companies usually go back 3 years on your mvr. Once that drops off you can probably find someone that will hire you as long as you don't get any more tickets. There could still be a carrier that will be able to take you on, but you will need to just call and ask them. Without any experience you will be more limited as to where you can go to get started.

Your boyfriend is going to have a difficult time with a failed drug test. This is a business that is not very forgiving when it comes to failed drug tests or anything that is drug or alcohol related. There is a drug rehab program that he might be able to go through that would help, but I don't recall the name. If he record is otherwise clean, he might find a smaller carrier that will hire him. I think that you will have a problem until that ticket drops off your mvr.
