We would LOVE to run closer to home... Able to visit the Grand more often :biggrin_255: Gary has already had his one year anniversary and mine is February 7th... So what the future holds is in God's hands :biggrin_25525: now if you know a company that would take us and we would make more that what we are doing now WITH getting to Sacramento more often... Please let me know :biggrin_25525:

Quest out of GA has dedicated lanes between GA and cali. Me and a friend were looking into them.

    Thank you :)

We will probably be sticking with Central at least for a while... Stuff happening in the real world and don't want to jump ship midstream :biggrin_25512:

Plus Central (or our DM at least) has been really good to us right now... Getting us home so we can take care of things... Of course not sure what all we will need to do, but that's a different story :biggrin_25511:

    Hello Lady K,

I am enjoying reading all of your posts. I am new to this site or any site for that matter. I don't do all the face book, twitter, yahoo stuff. I am out with my mentor with Swift and my husband is with his. He is on a dedicated Target and getting plenty of hours. I have been stuck in Jonestown, PA since Friday waiting for the truck to get fixed. I am with an O/O. I am very much looking forward to driving with my husband "Eddie". I am depressed that he is going to finish up his 240 2 weeks before me. I am only about half way through your posts but I am looking forward to reading the rest and see how you 2 team together and how you cook on the road and how you load the truck. I had bypass surgery 8 years ago and it is difficult to eat well on the road. I do love that I can share meals with Eddie and we save money that way. It's really hard to keep the weight off....I gained 40 pnds in 8 years....LOL actually I gained it all as soon as I started dating my husband 4 years ago. Keep up the positive attitude and I hope to learn a lot here.

PS. Since I have never done this post or blog thing I appologize in advance that I don't know what I am doing or what some of the accronyms are. Is there a spell check on here??? I know I fudged some of these words up.

Hi and Welcome!! Awesome that there is another bypassed trucker out there :biggrin_25514:

Time will travel quickly, especially as you look back. As for cooking... Loving the Burton oven! It does get to be a challenge though slicing and dicing as the truck in bouncing down the highway... LOL!

We've gained some on the road too... Lack of exercise and munching. It's gotten better now that we don't have the nuts available (just stopped buying them - LOL). Gum and ice are our friends :biggrin_25525:

You have any questions though, feel free to ask ... AND once you guys get out there, would love to meet up and share some coffe with you :)
