Let me just say that owning your own rig is never easy. Insurance will be steep. I bought my own rig and after only a month or so I signed on with a small company and have been driving with them ever since. Its an experience and I don't want to run you off from it. I just want to inform you so you wont get any nasty surprises.

How about starting out as company drivers and see IF you really like this profession... most newbies don't last in this biz.
This isn't like opening a small business on Main Street... it requires a lot of training, homework, MONEY AND EXPERIENCE etc. before you even turn the key... (OK... some guys don't have any experience... they are usually the first to go broke)
Freight doesn't just fall from the sky into /onto your trailer... lots of things to learn that can't be learned on a keyboard.

According to the TCA (Truckload Carriers Association) a whopping 36% of newbies washout in the firsy 90 days> an astounding number!
Krooser, I know where you can get a startup ship that needs a little bit of work. It's sitting on Italy right now..... -
Didn't they state they had close to 20 years experience ?
