Detroit metro tops Speed Trap Cities list

One would have to guess with Detroit and Ann Arbor being on the same list, are ticket cities.

 

I Seen On The News That Cops Get Paid A Extra Hour For Every 3 Speeding Tickets They Write In Redford And Dearborn Heights. Talk About A Incentive To Write Speeding Tickets,huh? I Know They Where Having A Debate On It And I Dont Know What The Outcome Was, But Dont That Seem Illegal, Even For Police? Luckily I Drive The Speed Limit, But For The Lead Foot's Out There, I'd Check Up On It If You Drive Threw Either Of Them Cities.

I know that with the large "BOOM" in the Det. Metro area the speed traps are higher. I lived in the area a few years ago. becareful on the end of M5 when the speed drops Novi police like to hide there.

 

You are right:

M5 north from the fwy to Pontiac Trl - whole stretch

also Michigan:

I75 N through Troy - 13mile to Square Lake road (especially 16mile/exit 69 to Adams) and again a few miles later from M59 to Baldwin road

M59 from I75 to Mound (or the reverse)
