Recent Grad

Anyone else out there go to Great Lakes TDS in Columbia Station, OH. Over all I was pleased with my experience although they've realy gotta replace some of the trucks that they use for yard training. I understand that you aren't going to be given top-notch equipment to learn in but some of these trucks were ridiculous. The ones we took out on the road weren't too bad though. I graduated last Wednesday, passed my state test Friday, and got hired today by Valley out of Ashland, Ohio. The school does have a good reputation with companies as a good place to hire out of. I was offered a job with Schnieder in their tanker division a couple weeks ago, but Valley was by far the #1 place I wanted to work for. Also I wasn't exactly hearing too many great things about Schnieder,weather or not they were true I don't know for certain. If anyone has any feedback conserning their experience with Valley or any questions about Great Lakes TDS I'ld love to hear from ya'.Be safe out there everyone.
