The way they plan you 3000+ is not running you hard just efficient. I've had a 3300 mile week that was a lot easier than some 2800 mile weeks. You are planned before you empty most times so you know where you are going and can plan ahead. Once you learn the places we P/U and deliver you can plan your rest periods better.

is there a policy on idle time? do they expect certain mpg's at the end of the month? do they route you? can you go 30 miles out of route to see your uncle tom?

I did have to wait, but you do that everywhere really. I unloaded and headed to KS, load should be ready in 2 hours, head to Amarillo, drop/hook and head to new Mexico for the 29th at 0500. Moving along well.

They have APU units, some TK and some electric. Not much reason to idle.... and 6.3 is the required number for the quarterly fuel bonus I think.
