The only part of your post I tried to debate with you was about the cash advances. If you would take some time, click on my username, and read some of my posts I've made on this forum; you would realize I am a driver

But then again trying to discuss something with someone who cant figure out the only way they can survive is off of cash advances, is redundant

They're actually below the national average in drive oos records... and above the national average by 5% for equipment oos.

Not exactly what you want, but I've seen much worse. Somebody is doing something halfway right over there.

 

I have met many drivers over the years who live off cash advances. Years back, when a company had to western union a driver money, and there where no atm machines, cash advances may have been needed. But with dependable atm's everywhere, there is no reason to try to live off advances.

You have to have Money in the bank to use the ATM....ROCK DOES NOT HAVE DIRECT DEPOSIT!
And why would I use MY Money to run THEIR Truck and, when 90% of the time you are never reimbursed for what you do spend on tolls,scales, etc..etc
They are the most greedy, back-stabbin people you would ever work for. They act like they are doing you a favor by letting them screw you over ever chance they get. You do what you want but I highly reccomend that you avoid this company at all cost!! Then again, maybe you are a hardhead like me and didn't beleive how dispicable these people could be and hard to go see for myself. Yep! I did it and now......I wish I would have listened !!!

Every time you called "The Truth" , the line was busy I bet.

 

It's ok....not over until it's over. Like I said in my earlier post, they have already been fined big time by the dot, lost the pre-pass and I Pass and they haven't learned a #### thing! The safety man there told me straight out, "Nothing has changed. We just have to be more discreet about how we do things". I am sure the DOT inspector who investigated them the first time would love to hear that.Not only that but I can tell them exactly what loads to look at and what trucks to look at. A lot of the loads are delivered and not even recorded on logs...other loads are 'delivered" when the truck ain't even there. I am trying to find out who did the investigation the first time and would love to have a sit down with him (or her) and maybe there would finally be some justice for the people they are messing over. I will keep y'all informed.

 

"IF" you worked for a decent Company that you made decent money at and they had DIRECT DEPOSIT you just may be right. ROCK does not have direct deposit nor do you make decent money. Nuff said?
I too, was out there when money had to sent western union. Never did need it then did we? We had great companies back then...ALWAYS had money in our pockets...What happened to those days !!!!
If you look now days, 99% of ALL COMPANIES allow driver advances. They do not want their drivers being broke out there. Rock Leasing doesn't care about anything except their own pockets and even tho it is money you have already earned, they would be loosing the few extra pennies they would get off the interest by holding on to it for as long as they could.
I have said it before, I have already elaborated on this company more than they deserve anyway and I am done. I have listed my experiences with them and gave y'all fair warning. If this ain't good enough to keep good drivers who want to make a living away from these people, I can only wish you the best.
