A few people said don't go to schneider training academy because you will just get sent home. That's not true. I just got my cdl yesterday. I thought the training was easy, but I'm a fast learner. My husband is here to and taking his cdl today. The trainers and instructors are very nice, professional, and patient. Our class started almost 2 weeks ago with 70 students and only 9 have went home on there own will. If you're thinking about a good school that will only cost you $900 look into Schneider National.

I start school up there Oct. 13. You mentioned that it only cost you $900...if you stay for a total of 2yrs, they give you another $1000 bonus. So really it does not cost you anything. Glad to here you two are doing so well. Good luck out there. I take it you two will be driving team ? I will be looking for you out there.......Oh and you too Chris.....:biggrin_25524:........:biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:. Sorry It was your pic on aviatar that made me say that. Good Luck you two.

Just got a call from recruiter awhile ago, wanting to know if I could come up a week earlier. So I will be starting the 6th also. See you up there. Guess Chris & Crystal will be gone by then.

Great job you two! Missed your post earlier since I have been training on the road and now overdue at getting home. I wish you guys all the luck and am envious as my spouse wont be coming out with me for another 16 or so years. Best of luck out there on the road!

Two YEARS indentured servitude for that bonus? It's sounds like a good deal, and maybe it is, but I'd NEVER go the servitude route. However....there is one diamond in the rough with this deal at Pumpkin, Inc. The training is only 900, which isn't TOO far away from my personal max of 700 or so.

If I sign up for this program, then walk away before my slavery period is up, how much am I responsible for? If it's 900, that's not a bad deal. It's pretty #### good, in fact. That'd be worth the risk.

Hmmm. I replied to this thread, yet the message disappeared. Here goes again.

Come on guys. That's two YEARS to the bonus. That's quite a long time to be in the indentured servitude phase, don't you think? However, at 900, it may not be a bad deal at all.

My question is: if I were to sign on at Pumpkin, Inc through this program, and then I decided to leave before my slavery period is up, am I responsible for ONLY the 900? If yes, then this would be a great deal, indeed. I have a feeling I'd be paying back several thousand, though. Can someone set me straight here on this issue?

How much WOULD I be paying Schneider if I quit 'em before the contract is up?
