Well I guess you wouldnt care for me then because I am fat. I will say this though you would be hard pressed to find anyone who keeps their truck cleaner than I do. I shower everyday or two. I dress nice and am clean shaven. I have all of my teeth. I do not wear flip flops or sweat pants outside of the truck. It really bothers me that people get on here and make assumptions about a person because of their appearance. I am not referring to you Smaggs because I think you are a stand up guy. I am referring to the loudmouths on here that would never walk up to someone and comment on their appearance but they are mighty brave behind a keyboard.

    JohnBoy Thanks this.

I wear sweats will driving because they are more comfortable. I am sure you look good in your sweats:biggrin_25525:. I was referring to the overweight people that wear nothing but them and looks like they havent showered in a week.

Another thing Smaggs, what is it with the 12 hours at home and they are asking you to come back ??
    I'd tell them to F*** Off !!
They have to give you time off, whether they like it or not, 1 day for every 7, I think is Knights policy, and if they threaten you with a DAC report, tell them you'll call a lawyer ..

Sounds to me you have a case of "burn out" you've seen too many highways lately..
and trust me local is nice, but it's not all sunshine and rainbows either...
bumping docks sometimes over 30 times a day,
having to unload a trailer in 100 degree heat (Especially where your living)
City traffic, I've been to Phoenix, what is it 6 lanes ?? think of that ALL DAY LONG
I've done both, there is good to both...
But you are almost at your 1 year point, even now I would start applying to better companies while your still at Knight, then give them a proper 2 weeks notice and if they do post a a bad DAC , you cares you already have another job to go to...

Good Luck on what ever you decide.....

Oh yeah, if you were serious about making some pants out of some friction mats, you can slide over to my truck and i have a ton in the bed. I keep forgetting to put them in my storage unit when every i go home.. and if you're only home for 12hrs, where are you doin your resets? i hope you haven't been recouping hours since Dec, that has to be horrible.

But since you're from Pa (guess AT won that toss up) i'd suggest finishing the year in Carlisle and then book on ova to another trucking company, goodness knows there's about a million over in that one state alone, and i swear they're all regional cause i've never seen any of those trucks in the south.

Myself, I dont wear anything. Yep; I drive buck nekkid. Plus, as I am driving, I usually will direct the air flow from the vent right onto my "nether region". Keeps everything cool and dry. Sure helps solve the shower problem. Cuts down on laundry too. I do keep a loincloth handy, like, when I get to a shipper, I'll just put that bad boy on; they always get a kick out of that! Always makes a lasting impression.
