The farmers here won't touch 14-ply. But remember, there are times when we come out of a field at 95k gross and over 14k on steers.

Bridgestone 726EL has the more aggressive tread design. The 720 has less tread depth than the EL tire also

And the EL has a RR of 145. Bad for fuel milage. About 4/10 per mile compared to the 720. I got 320,000 out of the 720's.

Thhis needs some sort of recognition as the post of the decade for being logical and intelligent,

Which is exactly why a huge percentage of people here will blow it off.

i listen to coast to coast am, i enjoy it to keep me awake at times. some shows are rather intelligent conversations, but others are about creatures walking on two legs with horse shaped heads and white fur and blue shining eyes (last nights show, lol)

i listen , believe some things, and others i lmao , and others i just hope the folks get some help, lol.

i guess its like that on any radio or tv show, or any truck stop counter convo.

kevin to me is very strong on the business end, the products i take him as no different, no worse than anyone else that endores or is sponsored by a product, nascar for example

I love coast to coast. Great entertainment at night. Their not all crazy though, before the stock market dumped they had a guy on that was saying to sell your stocks and buy gold. Should have took that advice.

Well first off they are probably not getting as much weight on the steer as they think they are. Plus I've run much more than 95K on 14ply tires on a daily basis and they hold up just fine.

But like I said, 16ply isn't gonna hurt.

I got ya, I took your post as stating that the EL was the low RR tire. The 720 has the exact same tread pattern as the 726EL, just less tread depth. I spoke with the Bridgestone sales reps at MATS and they explained that they used to have the 726 and then they had the 726EL. But they just did away with the basic 726 and named them the 720. Didn't sound right to me but that's what they said.

I run the 726EL and love them. They are all I have ever ran. My last set went 500,000 miles and they still had 3/32's left on them when I got the new ones. I have yet to get stuck anywhere and some of the construction sites I've gone to are pretty nasty. If I ever go back to running vans I may try the 720's.
