It is a 2008 Pete. They did a sensor this morning and now it seems fine. Hopefully the regin problems are done. We are here in Va and gonna get loaded this evening then we can move on Monday morning. We need 2 escorts here in VA front and rear. We are loading a transformer it weighs 88,000 so we will weigh about 174,000 all together. I will post pics when we get it loaded and ready to go...on Monday.

    Happy Easter everyone!!:biggrin_25525:

I think I know the driver they are talking about...
He's a good heavy haul driver. But he does like his beer.
Used to work with him at another company,we were both at years ago..

    Believe he lives in La.
Combined will treat you right, they have all their H.H. drivers on salary.

    Yep passingthru your right....

We are waiting on escorts and I will be able to post pics soon.

Truck and trailer weigh 72,000 EMPTY it is the trailer, jeep, and booster we carry the jeep and booster when we are "empty"

    OK yesterdays dinner was

    Pork Roast and sauerkraut

    2lb pork roast
1 large can sweet Barvarian kraut with caraway seeds ( i did plain kraut since i dont like caraway seeds)
1/4 cup brown sugar ( i used agave nectar just a little)
1 envelope of dry onion soup mix
    1/2 cup water

    place roast in slow cooker

rinse and drain kraut ( if you want to) dump in cooker,
mix in soup mix and brown sugar and water

cook on low for 5-7 hours my roast was small only took 5 hrs.

    Todays dinner

    Chicken and veggies

2 med potatoes quartered ( i used red ones and left the skin on)
2-3 carrots sliced ( i used 1/2 bag of baby carrots)
2 chicken breasts or thighs( boneless)
    salt to taste
    1 med onion
    2 garlic cloves minced
1-2 cups shredded cabbage (i used the shredded kind found in the salad section already shredded)
16oz can chicken broth ( i use the little packets and add water...less space to take up)

place potatoes and carrots in bottom
    chicken next
salt, pepper and whatever spices you want ( i have a roast chicken spice i use)
add onion, garlic and cabbage on top
    pour chicken broth around edges
cover and cook for 5-7 hours on low.

use your imagination you can do lots with this recipe.

after the scales we weigh 135,000 so not near as heavy as the loadsheet said we would be. Good thing too...makes permits easier to get. We are supposed to be there Monday...we leave at 6:30 am...escorts are both here finally.

Just wanted to mention that Combined has a few openings on the HH side. If your interested call Cheryl she will tell you everything straight up. If you have to be home every few weeks forget it...awesome company so far.

tootie04, Hope things go well there. If you see one of the H.H. trks. that has "what a long strange trip it's been."
Talk with him, He's been there for years and tell him his buddy from Thailand says Hi.
    He'll understand and might laugh.
I believe I still have an open offer there if I ever decide to go back to company driver and the old man is still above ground.
    Good luck to you both.
