3406e wiring

    i would like to know how to basically bench fire a 3406e. i have the motor in the truck but the cab was destroyed and we are having a connection problem to the cab of the truck... any help would be appreciated as would diagrams... if you could i need the info asap. thanks guys

    Need to know which 3406E

    The 40 pin ECM is powered on

    pin 6 is keyed + battery

    pin 4 is + battery terminal

    pin 5 is - battery terminal



    70 pin ECM is powered on

    pin 53 & 53 is + battery terminal

    pin 65 & 67 is - battery terminal

    pin 70 is keyed + battery

    Get the electricity to these pins on the ECM and the engine will run at idle, unless you hook up a TPS

    The C15 Acert BXS/MXS/NXS are the same pin numbers as the 70 pin 3406E for power.

    What would o need to do to hook up a throttle and check engine light port if you don't mind.. you've been a Savior so far..

    well made the harness as you stated and still the computer is not comming on... any ideas

    pin 28 is the ground(-12V) for the check engine light, the other side of the light bulb needs +12V from a battery source

    The accelerator pedal is three wires

    pin 4 goes to terminal A on the 3 pin Deutsch connector and is a +8V power source from the ECM

    pin 5 goes to terminal B on the 3 pin Deutsch connector and is called the accelerator sensor common

    pin 66 goes to terminal C on the 3 pin Deutsch connector and is the signal for the accelerator position

    i checked and the check engine light is on but i don't know how to get it to flash codes out of the truck
