...say - that fat, filthy, butt-crack showing supertrucker that just hit the buffet in front of you. Did he bother washing his hands after that last visit to the men's room???

Or more to the point... how many lice fell off of him into the buffet??? :biggrin_25521:

Years ago, I was a driver for a bulk ice cream company (ice cream in five gallon tubs) and one of our major clients was various Denny's across the southeast. Let me tell you, if you'd ever seen the back end of a Denny's, or the freezer, you would never eat there again. I've seen the business end of a lot of restuarants, and I have to say that Denny's was almost always the worst. One exception though, would have to be the Denny's in Cullman, AL, I-65, exit 310 (although it's not a truck stop). Out of all the Denny's I sold ice cream to, that one was always the cleanest (and the busiest).

I went to a Denny's in San Ysidro, Ca and the waitress there was a border crosser who literally could not speak English. A year later I ate at a Denny's in San Jose, Costa Rica and the waitress spoke perfect English. :biggrin_25513:

I traded my pilot reward points last year for a lunch box stove.
I cook in truck with it carry a box of canned goods and such in truck vry seldom eat in truck stop any more. I just sooon take my per diem money home and spend it on me and not a crappy meal.

I always cook in my truck, much healthier and cheaper.
I have become quite good at figuring out how to microwave certain items to cook
them (adding a little water to prevent food drying out, covering it,the right spices,
considering many of your chain restaraunts basicly cook via microwave)
when not in a rush I plug in my slow cooker and make 10 or so chicken breasts
and nibble on that for a few days...
I also use my george forman grill....
No need for me to stop and pay for ###### overpriced unhealthy food anymore
