Was it a black 386? My buddy Steve usually runs up that way. He won TCA'c Company Driver of the Year award in 2007

Thanks for the compliments gentlemen. They're nice rigs for company vehicles.

Yes it was a black 386.

Got my ### kicked today, waited 15 hours to get a load, took 2.5 hours to crane load with a bunch of machinery then I had to tarp the whole darn thing...I got pics before the tarps and I was too tired and needed to get moving so I didnt get after pic's....I'll get them tommorow.

Hey Logan, just so you know it seems Smith Transport, and Equipment Transporters have stolen all the water business around here, both companies not only have their tri-axles running like crazy but they both have brought over numerous tractor trailers to join in the fun.

Moral of the story........Seems you made a good move to part ways with Myers, won't be long before all of the small companies are out of business and oil field trucking is just "another" low paying job.

Yeah my ex- boss called me and said he bought a few more trucks, I also heard rumors he lowered his starting pay...everyone cut the rates to crap.

The late/mill part on the spread was the hardest to tarp, I used two 4 foot drop 24 foot long tarps for everything but that mill (it was a shame I only had one smoke tarp I used on the mill so I had to use two long 4 foot drops and only needed like 8 feet of the second one...) I used the smoke tarp over the mill and I had to borrow a ton of cardboard, rags, bubble wrap, and duct tape to get all the corners padded...

I had to do that not to long ago at a paper towel plant in Green bay delivering used machinery. had to pause several times for them to move low hanging items like mirrors out of the way. All in a days work.
