Anyone know where to get the best deal on an aluminum saddle/tool step box? A quick search online showed Northern Tool about the cheapest at $400 for 12" and up for larger. The local Truckpro was about $372 and up. Iowa80 was about $100 more than that.

    Thanks...

Late 1990s, used to do purchasing for a small fleet operating in south TX, and believe it or not, Rush Peterbilt in Houston had everyone beat by about $50.00/per for the Merrit (sp?) brand.
Second believe it or not, they knew we ran a fleet of KWs......& still nice guys to deal with.

If it's aluminum, it's expensive, those prices don't sound too bad. Keep your eye out, I bought 2 BRAND NEW Pro-Tech 12" saddle boxes a guy bought and never put on his truck that was going to be repo'd for $350.

Yeah, I think I get a Landstar discount at Rush too, maybe just labor. Problem is, I don't think there is one near by. I might go with TruckPro just because it's local. I haven't checked the local Freightliner yet, sometimes they have better prices.
