i understand what you are saying but just because you don't need to go home you may want to take a few days here or their but for the same money i would do it solo unless you find a company that is paying good money for teams

I would think they give teams better loads and such. If you can get along with the guy .... it is better. :)
I am cheating. My partner is my wife.

I do run into team drivers, occasionally I'll ask how things are going and how long they've been doin it ... 6 months seems to be the usual answer of those that appear to be workin out. go figure.. anyway.. while others ready to beat on each other, as if that will make it any better. I can see wanting to make more $$$ but I strongly suggest to look at the whole picture not just the money' I teamed up for reason besides money. I was fine working solo to begin with I fine with it now. at this point I'd have to know the person I'm teaming up much better then previous attempts.

Teaming is something you gotta get used to an't easy at first, you gotta find the right teammate unless your a H/W team.Expedited business is mostly teams and I wouldn't do teaming with any starter company,if you want to do team, drive for a expedited company as a I.C driver, also expedited pays more.

as a team, i would not drive for a company that only paid their teams .34 a mile.... we make .42

you can run it...but you cant continually log it..

most companies do give teams better treatment, load wise, equipment wise etc....

runnin team is very hard....its sounds all glory when you figure the money...my husband and i have ran team for 20 years...its not easy. you dont really have any extra time as a team...forget a hot meal most times, the only time you get any down time as a team is time off, or your restart, and as a team you can do a rolling restart which only has you sitting for 24 hrs instead of 34....by the time you wash clothes, do pprwrk, clean the truck, shower...its bed time...LOL yeah its good money...but WAY harder than a solo has it...granted a lot of solos bust their rear....but they still have 10 hrs in NON moving vehicle to rest....try sleeping bouncing across I~40 in AR, or OK...or I~10 in Louisiana....NOT gonna happen....also get woke up when your partner is in a traffic jam, crossing scales, getting inspected, stops for fuel or bathroom break...etc...etc....etc....LOL you may LOG that you are resting...but in reality you are lucky to get 5~6 hrs of sleep...depending on where you are running at

Yes but its worth the pay,I never sat more than 2 days the most and does have it bad but the money is worth it if you drive for the right company owner etc.Only sat 2 days once and that was in CA,most of the time its 1 to 1.5 days the most.
