Yes makinhay... that is exactly what her description was... he is on high alert all the time while he is doing all that... to me when you have an intense job such as that you need the ground team to be there in support and help you in any way necessary not treat you like you are a piece of C%@p.

The health insurance for a single person at PF is $460/mo. We pay $147 of that and PF pays the rest. The deductable is $250.
For a family its $1196. We pay $405 of that PF pays the rest. The deductable is $250. The payment is 90/10 (we pay the 10 percent). The insurance is Blue Cross Blue Shield. They also have vision and dental. And life insurance as well as long term disablitiy paid for by PF. There is a 90 day waiting period before you can get insurance.

I heard that they were making the Watford freshwater drivers shift change on location now as well. Minot freshwater drivers have been doing that for 6 or 8 months, it's nothing new. There are a few kinks that Watford will have to work out, but when they get it together it will result in the same length shift that you would have worked if you drove your truck back to the Watford yard. If you really have that big of a problem with it, switch to saltwater. Although you should know that saltwater drivers have always shift changed on locations when doing flowbacks or in line at a disposal. It's part of the job, nobody in the oilpatch works an 8 hour shift. If this amount of work is new to you it may take some getting used to. There are a lot of companies that basically ignore the HOS, and their drivers are expected to work 24, 36 hours or even longer if the job requires it, then get right back to it after a few hours of rest. Power Fuels, MBI, and some of the other companies are different in that they actually make an effort to run legal, at a lot of places you will be treated much, much worse than PF.

Not necessarily true jvar, I start working with plains in mid-june. That is also when I graduate from my CDL school. I know someone that works there and I have CDL experience (through the military) but they are getting a bunch of new trucks in and they have several trucks waiting to be filled.

A lot of people talk about the oil boom in North Dakota. I hear that oil, gas and coal are booming all over the USA and Canada. Anybody know about jobs in western Colorado?

What if you show up in ND pulling a camper trailer. How hard would it be to find a safe legal place to park it and set it up for living quarters?

For water, I'd recommend Power Fuels or Key energy. Both are hiring, atm.
