I just thought of another source you could check. There are several equipment leasing companies. You may check with them for repo's or for equipment that is being turned in to them after a lease is completed.

why not just buy a trailer, it's cheaper and if you don't tear it up you could sell it in a few years for about what you paid fot it.
Most all the flatbed trailer dealers sell equipment, prices vary greatley. Shop, shop, shop. Try to buy in Mo. IL or other states that don't charge sales tax if you have a DOT number.

I wouldn't call you crazy.....yet anyway. While I don't yet own my own truck, when I do, it will have a flat. Stepdeck or something like that hooked to it. And I would agree with the several posters who recommended buying a trailer. By the time you pay rent, security deposit etc, you could buy a good used one.

I am considering purchasing or leasing a trailer from Diamond truck and trailer, or you might get ahold of Aaron from Rowland Truck and Equipment in Ansonia, OH, Aarons direct number is 937-548-4202. He usually has a good selection up there of all different kinds of trailers and if he dont have it he will know where to get it. Hope this helps a lil bit. Safe trucking to ya!

I was thinking the same thing when I got started 2 some years ago. See about buying your own trailer used. Less than $8000. Just to get started.
