I am starting school here in the next couple of weeks. I have been reading this forum for awhile and came across something I am not too sure about. I will apologize right now if this sounds dumb, but remember I am new.
I was under the impression that you only got paid when you were hauling a load. After reading other posts I saw that some companies pay you for miles whenever the dispatch tells you to move your truck. Like driving to go and get a load or going to pick up an MT. I was wondering how does PAM handle that?
Thanks for the help,
Mike

My friend works there. He said they
Pay mt moves and when deadheading. Said its same pay as when loaded. I'll defer to current PAM drivers for verification. -
Thanks for the reply Falcon. Anything is better than what I am doing now. Excited and extremely nervous, but looking forward to getting started.

I am running team for PAM right now and we get the same pay...empty or loaded. We deadhead 250-500 miles 2 -3 times a week
