Rolled into Trenton on Wednesday and got no loads available. Needed a B-service and was able to get that done and headed to the house for hometime on Thursday. Worked out good. Was out 6 weeks this last time. Not sure if I'll stay out that long again. 3 weeks had been my plan, but I needed to be home for a couple different events and I didn't want to go out for 3 weeks and then come back home a couple of weeks later. I was suppose to be home last week, but I got the Cali run and didn't want to drop it.

My laptop died a while back and I just now got around to buying another one. Plus I got a Verizon JetPack Wifi setup so I have internet all over. My Phone is on Spirit and it sucked when I went out west. I could make calls and text but that was about it. Not that you have a whole lot of time to goof around on the net.

I was able to visit with the new recruits at Trenton. Big class this time with 9 guys in the class.

Just came back from home time. Got a load out of Louisville headed to Cherokee, AL. Dropped that and had a pre-plan over to Decatur, AL for a load of Meow Mix. (I hate it when cats chase you down the road) Took that load up to Spring Valley, IL to Walmart DC. Ran over to Streator and got a load that a driver dropped going to South Pittsburg, TN. I'll unload tomorrow and hopefully get something good to keep me busy this weekend. Added up my miles since I got my truck. 1/4/12 and as of my hometime I had 51,856 paid miles. Not bad for a rookie...lol

meow mix was my first pickup out with my trainer.

After dropping in South Pittsburg, Tn got dispatched over to Chatsworth, Ga for a load of carpet going to Menard's DC in Plano, Il. Dropped that load and got a load out of Menards going to a store in Chillicothe, Oh. Live unload that took 2.5 hours. Man they are slow. Dispatch told me to head to Trenton Terminal. Here I sit waiting on a load. The place is packed with trailers. I'm parked in the back on the range. I'm on the list but don't have any idea how many are in front of me. I'm going to ask dispatch in the morning if they think I'll get anything tomorrow, if not then I'm calling my wife and she is coming up to get me. Probably go visit family up here in the Cincinnati area. Beats sitting around the terminal all day.

Gtown we got ya beat on the chillicothe menards they took 3.5 hours for us. Butch had to keep going in there and "motivating" them to get us unloaded. I dont see how they get anything done in a day.
