F-em then. Training companies trailers all have some sort of damage unless it brand new. I work for a major carrier and just about every trl I get is beat up. Find another job b4 they have time to pin a accident on you, and show em our favorite finger on the way out! Otr junk driving jobs are a dime a dozen anyway. Good luck
May get fired - Need advice please.

Nearly every trailer I pick up has some damage, I asked out trailer shop guy about reporting & he said most damage is never reported...
I report what looks like new stuff with holes or splits in the outer trailer skin, wheels damaged, but really if its roadworthy we are good to go... -

Do you have to pay for the CDL training still? I agree with the ones that take photo`s of damaged trailers. A picture
speaks for itself. When ever I used to get a rental trailer, IMEDIATELY, I take pictures of all sides and the trailer Number. -
SHC Thanks this.

No matter how big you feel when you get your first truck rookies make mistakes... often BIG mistakes. they cost trucking companies big $$$... but they have such huge turnover they often give second and even third chances....
DrtyDiesel and Wargames Thank this. -
Ethan -
I was fired today - the guy was a #### because I didn't return his call on Fri (called me at 230pm) I have bill collectors calling me and didn't get his message until 5. He was long gone until today - Tues after holiday weekend.
I made a comment about the "suppoed" video and he claims he saw it and I said "I hope so" and hung up.
I talked to a recruiter from another big company - I was honest about everything and she said if Roehl reports the incident to them I will have to wait 3 years from now and have a spotless record for 6 months from another trucking company.
