    Recently purchased an 05 and a 04 379 and brought them home from the Pete dealer the other day. I noticed a slight difference in the sound system between the 05 and 04 and decided to take a deeper look.

    Found the difference... the two sub speakers that hide underneath the bed in the 04 aren't working. So I tore into it today and found out why, no power... at either the subwoofer disconnect clip and subwoofer clip. So I tore into the HU and amp area and found all the speaker connectors and also I found the schematic from supermiller and have a question;

    What connector would the subwoofer run to in the HU/amp area...

    RSA or Rear Speaker Output

    I checked the green and violet wires in the Rear Speaker output clip and they all have power.

    I am not entirely sure what the RSA clip goes to. The schematic says Rear Seat Audio. ???

    Anyone else have problems with this?

    It's been a few weeks with no replies, did you manage to get this figured out?

    I've been out working the last month. Haven't made progress. I have plans to upgrade the entire system, so decided to leave it alone for now.

    Gears Thanks this.

    I have the factory amp that all speakers run into as well. When i tested for power... not getting power at the sub connector, but am off the connector from the amp. So it appears there is a break in the cable between amp and sub. didnt have the time to pull off panels and locate.
