Talked to a recruiter today for a company sponsored cdl training program, the cost of the program is $2500, this is what I pay, with no company reimbursement, then she told me that if I either, do not finish, (fail, always a possibility for some) the program, or break my one year contract, I would owe double the cost, $5000. Is this for real ?
Fail CDL training , pay double tuition ???

Don't sign anything. Just keep doing research until you find the right fit for you. If I was told that, I would have politely thanked the recruiter for the information and brochure...then throw it all in the trash once I got home. There are too many other opportunities out there to settle for that. Keep doing your research!

I would want to know the name of this company! That's a scam if I ever heard of one! Pay double to fail? Yeah right! That's a bottom feeding scum sucking trucking company if I ever heard one!
I'd do the trash thing one better. Thank her nicely and as you head out the door but drop those broshures in HER trashcan and save your trash at home for more important trash!
