Nashville, TN. Hook up to a load in the morning and head to just south of Syracuse, NY for 0600 Monday. The new AC in the bunk has now worked for two consecutive nights. Yippee!!
-
Don't catch a chill from all that cold air blowing on you. Happy for your 2 nights of luck.48Packard Thanks this.

This is a post that possibly only Pack will understand..................Workflow is a pain in the arse, and causes me to bang my head against my desk. Whomever thought that whole mess up should be drawn and quartered.

Haven't been following the SNI threads much of late....is it getting any better? After all, it's been going on...what, 8 months...perhaps a year for some of the earliest "participants"....I really feel for y'all....wonder if that at least contributed to Mark Rogers jumping ship to take the reins at Interstate....teddy_bear6506 Thanks this.

Houston. Hot.

TA on I-80 near Lock Haven, PA. Might as well do a 34.

I don't go to the SNI threads, either. It's gotten much better for the dedicated drivers; they've loosened up the constraints quite a bit, but there is still a lot of room for improvement. I've got 1 driver that just transitioned this week, and on the account he does there is nobody to help him out with the learning curves. The other is a dedicated driver that is helping out with loads for the account the other driver is doing. These loads are set up totally different than the dedicated, so I've been having the week from you know where. I can't believe it's been 8-9 months since this system was introduced. I'm hoping next week goes better for my 2 drivers. I call them mine because I'm the only one that does this account, so they pretty much work directly with me only.

Somewhere in IA along I80. Cannot give my position away as it is a secret location that is nice and quiet, but am headed for IL tomorrow to deliver near Chicago. Then....who knows where?

I think she did that because her rooster left her. I saw him yesterday east of Lyons, Ks. He ran across the road in front of me.
Back home again after bouncing around SE KS, and NE OK. I can't believe my dispatcher. He bounced 3 of us 3.5 hrs for a load of dust going to OK. Then had another 3 trucks bounce about the same distance to haul rock from the same quarry we had loaded in. It would have been a shorter bounce for us, and would have paid more. These long distance bounces and the routes, make it impossible to find a place to shower. Thank God wife was over picking up our granddaughter when I got home. I was able to shower before they arrived. I was beyond dirty. Smelled worse then a feedlot. I hated getting out of my truck to have my bills signed, afraid I they would pass-out. I really hate that aspect of this driving job. Kiln dust is nasty, nasty, nasty stuff.
So if you run across me somewhere, please don't think that I'm like that all the time. However you will probably want to stay upwind...
Bumpy and teddy_bear6506 Thank this.
