I, for one, welcome the future. If we continue to live in the past, we will never advance as a nation and as humanity as a whole.

You are about half my age.....
I came from a time when you drove a truck...It had Two Sticks....And what was A/C and Power-steering?

My 386 will be the last rig I own.....After CARB shuts me down in 2020 (The last year for the first generation CARB compliant trucks...'07-'09 EPA engines to run in Cali) I'll hang it up.....

So what is your point, exactly. Advancement brought us AC and power steering. You talk like you WANT to go back to that. If so, have fun. And just because it's classic doesn't make it better, either. Living in the past accomplishes nothing.

    envayne Thanks this.

Nope....You'll see when you get to my age.....

It will get to the point where it will be useless to you......

I was where you are now....I used to make fun of my parents because their VCR was always flashing 12:00...
Now I get it....You get to the point where it really doesn't matter.....

That's a broad assumption. We're not all the same.

    We'll see.....

Some day...Fishing will be a priority over driving a new truck for you...I assure you of this.......

Well you just proved how little you know about me. I hate fishing.

I have many things I would take over a new truck. That's not the point of this conversation. You've taken it way off the rails. I'm simply saying that change can be a good thing. Not everything classic is better.

I was on I 81 when I saw my first cab under. It looked like a crane carrier under the trailer which was even to the front of the trailer. All anyone could see was a trailer going down the hgwy until you looked close.Talk about suicide driving.
