Central Oregon Truck is not an entry level flat bed job. Their drivers are pros at tarping and make quite a bit extra in a month for tarping. They have great shippers and receivers that keep frieght in front of the drivers. No waiting. When you add that to the fact they have increased pay for all of their drivers this month, they have risen above industry standards. They also have paid insurance benefits for drivers, above and beyond what most companies have.
Just so you know they don't have maxi trucks, they have quads a heavy haul division. They run in to Cananda. -

Acually a maxi is a 40 and 20, but that's neither here nor there. So far so good. I got a 2012 KW truck and did some good running for my first week out. Got a great load on now to start this next run off with. The folks there are very informative and friendly. And as soon as I'm empty, I get a new load. No down time!

Can we get an update? Hows the home time for the 8 axle fleet? Or, other fleets in general?
-
Going great. Was getting home weekly, but did an east coast run for them and was out almost 3 weeks. But got in Friday morning and off til Mon. Gotta get Canada clearance for 8 axle fleet. Gonna cost a little cause of DUII 19yrs ago. Great company to work for though!

I work for Werner, I am scheduled to go thru orientation with COTC, can you tell me the good, the bad and the pay with this company. I couldn't be happier with Werner except the pay is very low. I do Canada and the Western States and I never stop. I stay out for 4 to 8 weeks at a time and get one day off for every week out.
Thanks -
I know this tread is old but any new info on pay would be great thanksp
