Hello my fellow drivers. I would like to know if Prime Inc, is a good company to work for? I have driver van for 3 months after graduating and I'm considering going to Prime Inc for flatbed. I was told that I still have to do 3 months of training but it's paid. Does anyone have any information on how fair they are, meaning will they give you the region that you desire after training and what about home time during training? Is this an overall good company to workfor?

Youll get better answers over at the Prime portion of the board. Its a good company to me. Been here just over a year now. Prime will pay you during training. Flatbed starts out at 36cpm once you go solo. That three months is doubtful. You have to do a minimum of 40,000 miles with a trainer. Depending on how many miles you get a week AND when your trainer/fm feels youre ready to upgrade determines when youll get your own truck. Theres a specific thread I started just about Prime Flatbed Division. We only have 1 regional area, and thats Texas. A lot of loads come out of there. Are several places in Ga we pick up from though. I got my current load from Ga

I'm supposed to get a call from them this Friday 07/13/12 to see if they accept my application. I already got an offer from PAM but I've heard better things about Prime for new truck drivers, that's why I'm waiting.
